For the World Tourism Day, we proudly organized a special mulberry tree planting activity at the Samui Special Needs School. It was a joy to see guests, associates, teachers, and students come together to nurture our environment through this initiative. The mulberry trees were propagated using the “Layering” technique in our organic garden, a project that first began on World Environmental Day earlier this year.

We also used organic fertilizer created from composting leftover food from our outlets, showcasing our commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism. This planting not only enriched our local ecosystem but also engages our community in meaningful ways.

During the latest harvest season at our Tongsai Organic Garden, we were thrilled to share the bounty of our organic mulberries with our guests and team members. Together, we collected several baskets full of these delicious fruits, which were later transformed into delightful homemade mulberry jam and served with fresh bread from our Bakery team. This hands-on experience highlights the joy of farm-to-table dining and reinforces our dedication to sustainability.

Moreover, our ongoing commitment to environmental education was evident during our "Layering - Tree Propagation" activity held earlier this year. This initiative allowed guests and team members to learn about sustainable gardening practices while fostering a sense of community. Once the branches grow new roots, they will be donated to our local community, further extending the impact of our efforts.

In addition to these activities, we are excited to offer additional cultural and natural experiences like “Plai Lam Temple Tour” and Nature Walks. These activities provide guests with an opportunity to explore the beauty of Samui while engaging with our local culture and environment.
